I have not been on anything yet and have had tinnitus since January. I'll try and go another month, but this may mean if I can get through the 1st 6 months, I might not need any drugs at all.

Psycologists are a load of BS. If you grit your teeth and think of powerful violent classical music, some of it can be really rousing. You will get through this, brave the storm.
